FAQ

Common pricing questions

How much does Halo cost?
Halo is priced per agent, with every feature, module and integration included in one price, billed monthly or annually. Use the calculator above to get an instant estimate, or contact Allied ESM for a confirmed quote including implementation.
What is an agent, and do my end-users cost anything?
Agents are your licensed users — the team logging in to manage tickets, deals, and projects. Your end-users, portal users, and customers are always free. There is no charge for ticket volume, data usage, or the number of people accessing the self-service portal.
What's the difference between Named and Concurrent licences?
A Named licence is assigned to one specific agent. A Concurrent licence is shared across a pool — it counts how many agents are logged in simultaneously. Concurrent suits shift-based teams or roles where not everyone is active at the same time.
What are ARR Milestones?
ARR Milestones are automatic, compounding discounts applied to all customers on standard pricing as Halo hits its own revenue milestones. The current discount is 5%. No renegotiation required — your renewal price simply drops as Halo grows.
Are there feature tiers or paid add-ons?
No. Halo has no tiers, editions, or add-ons. All capabilities — AI, CMDB, project management, ESM, reporting — are included as standard for every agent.
Does the price increase as data or ticket volume grows?
No. Halo is priced only by the number of agents, never by ticket volume, end-user count, or data usage.
How does Halo pricing compare to ServiceNow?
Halo is significantly cheaper than ServiceNow on a like-for-like basis. ServiceNow licences each product area separately — ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD — and costs compound rapidly. Halo's single all-inclusive licence eliminates that entirely. For typical mid-market organisations, Halo delivers equivalent or better functionality at roughly half the cost.
Is there an enterprise option?
Yes. The Halo Enterprise Package provides unlimited agent licences and funded implementation for a fixed $1M per year. It's designed for large organisations where the standard per-agent model would be more expensive. Contact us to discuss whether this applies to your situation.
