Handover pack delivered, project formally closed

Governance & Control

Nothing moves without your sign-off

Complex projects fail when scope drifts and decisions get made without the right people in the room. This plan is structured so you stay in control at every stage — not just at go-live.

1
After Discovery & Design — Week 4

Build spec sign-off

Before a single line of configuration is written, you review and formally approve the design document. What's in scope, what's out, how integrations will work, and what the finished platform will do. No ambiguity going into build.

2
After Build — Week 9

Build review sign-off

The full build is reviewed against the agreed spec before UAT begins. You confirm the platform matches what was designed. Issues are resolved here — not discovered by your team during testing.

3
After UAT — Week 13

Go-live readiness sign-off

Your team tests the platform end-to-end. Every issue is logged, triaged, and resolved. You formally confirm the solution is ready before training begins — nothing goes live that hasn't been approved by your stakeholders.

4
After Training — Week 17

Project closure sign-off

Training is delivered, the handover pack is in your hands, and the project is formally closed with a documented record of everything built and every decision made. You own it completely from day one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions, answered directly.

What makes the Complex Deployment Plan different from the Micro and Standard plans?
The Complex Plan is designed for organisations with multi-department requirements, large data migrations, bespoke integrations, or significant change management needs. It includes a deeper discovery phase, a formal design authority review, customer-led UAT with dedicated Allied ESM support, a structured training programme across multiple teams, and a phased go-live approach. It is the right choice when complexity, risk, or organisational scale makes a faster plan unsuitable.
How long does the Complex Deployment Plan take?
The Complex Plan runs for 17 weeks, structured in five phases: discovery and design (weeks 1–3), build sprint 1 (weeks 4–7), build sprint 2 (weeks 8–11), customer-led UAT (weeks 12–14), and training and go-live (weeks 15–17). The phased structure means each phase has a defined sign-off point before the next begins, giving full visibility and control throughout the programme.
What does the Complex Deployment Plan cost?
The Complex Plan starts from £60,000 as a fixed price. The exact price is determined following the discovery phase, where requirements are fully defined. Allied ESM provides a fixed-price proposal after the initial scoping engagement — no financial commitment is made until the scope is agreed and both parties are confident in the delivery plan.
What level of involvement is required from our team during the Complex Plan?
Your team will need to provide a dedicated project lead with decision-making authority, subject matter experts for each department being onboarded, availability for weekly steering reviews, and a UAT team during weeks 12–14. Allied ESM provides a dedicated project manager who coordinates all delivery activity and maintains the programme schedule. The burden on your team is confined to defined review windows and UAT activities.
What does customer-led UAT mean in practice on the Complex Plan?
Customer-led UAT means your team runs the acceptance testing rather than Allied ESM signing off on your behalf. Allied ESM prepares a structured test script covering every configured process and integration. Your designated UAT team works through the script, raises defects, and formally accepts each section before go-live is confirmed. This ensures the platform works exactly as your organisation needs it — verified by the people who will use it.
